Our song was inspired by a very large cardboard box. One by one, we had a turn of climbing inside - then, we wrote a song about it.
lyrics
I climbed inside a box today
I shut the lid
Said - I'm ok
I just need a minute to myself
Promise I won't be gone for long
Just enough time to right my song
Whistle my tune and sing my blues away
And even though I'm pretty small
And suddenly the world seems tall
I know you will catch me
If i fall
And sleep will mean my day will end
Dreams ensure my heart will mend
And when I wake
You will be there my friend
You climbed inside a box today
Shut the lid - say I'm OK
You just need a minute to yourself
Promise you won't be gone for long
Just enough time to write your song
Whistle your tune
And sing your blues away
And even though you're pretty small
And suddenly the world seems tall
You know I will catch me
If you fall
And sleep will mean your day will end
Dreams ensure your heart will mend
And when you wake
I will be there my friend
